Setting multiple (more than 50) rigid domains

Hello, I want to set up multiple (more than 50) rigid domains in my model. I am working in the sold mechanics module if that matters. My problem is that choosing multiple domains inside the rigid domain interface makes all the domains I chose into one connected rigid domain. I want to be able to set up individual rigid domains without having to set up each one as a different rigid domain input.

Hello Sivan,

If you want to create multiple domains as different rigid bodies in a model then there is no other way but to that many Rigid Domain nodes in the physics. As you mentioned, if you select all required domains in a single Rigid Domain node, they will behave as a single connected body.

In order to setup such models easily, the Multibody Dynamics interface has a functionality called Create Rigid Domains under Automated Model Setup. Using this button you can create Rigid Domains nodes automatically for all geometrically disconnected objects within the physics selection or any other selection defined by the user.

Best regards,
Pawan Soami
