Hello, I study with comsol from an architectural point of view. I am trying to calculate the energy consumption of a simple one or two flat residential buildings for time-dependently as an example annually or just for winter. EnergyPlus or Designbuilder simulation programs can do it. However, I would like to try to do it with comsol. For this purpose, I need some input data such as time, global coordinate (location), ambient data (meteorological data- ASHRAE 2017, ambient temperature, pressure, and wind speed are referenced by the Heat Flux), the ambient solar irradiance, solar position option-directions, sky conditions. I search two articles from Comsol blog before, https://www.comsol.com/blogs/thermal-modeling-of-the-air-flow-inside-and-around-your-house/ and https://www.comsol.com/blogs/thermal-modeling-surfaces-wavelength-dependent-emissivity/ by Walter Frei. To conclude, can I calculate energy consumption in kWh. Thank you for your response.
