How to simulate multi-layer structrue using the Membrane Model in structural mechanics module

I want to create a multi-layer metal membrane model to simulate the acoustic frequency response of the structure, just like the response of microphone. In the official case"condenser_microphone", the giving membrane structrue is single-layer while using the "membrane" physical interface in structural mechanics module. I want to know how to simulate multi-layer structrue in a similar way.

Hello,

You can simulate multilayer membrane using the Layered Linear Elastic Material node in the Membrane interface. This node is available with the Structural Mechanics Module however support for multilayer modeling comes with Composite Materials Module. The model setup for multilayer membrane would be very similar to the multilayer shells. You can refer examples of multilayer shells in the Composite Materials Module folder of the Application Library.
