Carreau-Yasuda model transition parameter modification

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,

I am working on modelling a non-newtonian fluid using the Carreau-Yasuda rheological model. In Comsol (5.4), the available non-newtonian model is the Carreau model, which has the transition index parameter, a, fixed to 2. In the Carreau-Yasuda model, however, this parameter can have other values than 2, and I need to use other values.

Is there any way to modify the model to make the a parameter a variable, and not 2?

Thank you.
