Hi, Please I want to simulate a HC-PCF ( 1550 nm with 7cell) from Thorlab using Comsol, the fiber has these parameters: 1.core diameter 10um (um=micrometer) 2.diameter of holey region 70um 3.silica cladding diameter 120um 4.coating diameter 220um
Kindly note these questions: 1.what is the 7 cell meaning and how can I draw the design with this number of cells? 2.how I draw the air holes arround the core and how I know the pitch size between two holes. 3. I need the diameters mentioned above in points 1, 3 &4 , then the diameter of holey region 70um i do not need it ...right ?
Thank you
