Position of terminals of electromagnetic device inside infinite element air domain

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Dear all, I wanted to evaluate magnetic fields distribution due to current flowing in conducting sheet. Is it necessary to extend the terminals (current excitation and ground) to the boundaries of infinite element domain or not? This is crucial because I cannot change the geometry of sheet. Hence, it is difficult to extend terminal to boundaries.

Any suggestions would be useful to me. Thank you in advance.

regards, Swanand.
