Morphogenesis on a growing domain

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello everyone,

I am a beginner with COMSOL and for my class, I want to simulate the Gierer-Meinhardt equations on a radial growing domain. I tried with a constant velocity and now I really want to go further with a velocity depending on the inhibitor and activator concentrations. The problem is that the model is really unstable and I don't know how to fix the problem. I am wondering if I set up correctly the segregated steps, the weak contribution, the two solvers and their parameters... A lot of parameters that I have not yet mastered on COMSOL.

From now on, I don't have any pronounced inhomogeneous deformation of my surface.

Do you have any suggestions to help me in my project ?

Here is my code.

I thank you in advance for any help,

Faustine.
