View Factor

Hi ...

I would like to know how comsol computes view factors for complex geometries ... and also how to override the view factors in case i do want to ?

I have a closed cavity where the view factor computed by comsol was close to zero which is right practically. when i split the object and used a symmetry boundary condition , the view factors were not zero !

i don t understand why this happens ?

i have attached the file FYKI
