Projection coupling with transient models

I have a problem when using projection coupling with a time depenedent model. It appears that the values calculted along the projected boundary are also intergerted over the time of the simulation as well as one of the dimensions.
I would like to use the projection coupling values as a boudnary condition, during the simulation. Is there a method for doing this using the projection coupling or do i need to consider a different method.
