Feed at a fixed point other than x=0 in 1D

Hellow.

I am modeling a fixed-bed reactor in 1D. Right now I have one main reaction taking place in it and the reactant A comes in at the default inlet of x=0. However, I would like to see what happens if I add more A to the process at other point (for example, x=0.5). That is, having additional inlets. I tried creating different points in the geometry by using the options "inflow" or "concentration" under the species settings, but these two seem to specify a fixed value of concentration at that point and not a real release. Can anyone provide me advice of how to release additional material at x=0.5 in 1D?

Thanks.
