Heating of Superconducting DC Magnet due to Flux Jumping or Eddy Currents

Hi There, I am attempting to diagnose an issue with a DC superconducting solenoidal magnet where when the permiabilty of the bore is changed due to the movement of a high permiability material through the bore we are seeing the magnet heat towards quenching temperatures. Can someone consider a way to use COMSOL to measure the cause or result of this situation. I am currently using mf physics with stationary solutions. Should I be looking at mfh physics and moving meshes? I understand that the SC fillaments used in this particulr magnet are very sensitive to AC - or changes in coil current that occur to conserve the energy stored in the magnetic filed. Has anyone seen an AC losses problem solved in COMSOL? thanks! - Corey
