FW sonic simulation

Hello all,
I want to model an FW probe in a rock mass via Comsol, then I would like to get the response of a different receiver. And I have several questions: 1. to simulate the source it will be better to simulate a monopolar point source or monopolar domain? 2. I want to put a ricker wavelet as the source, therefore I have a band of frequencies. how I can define the size of the PML layer? 3. also I don't know how I could apply the hp adaptive mesh method. 4. for the mesh how I could define multiple meshes for different frequency bands. Thank you in advance, I will be more than grateful for any advice.
