Defining Temperature-Dependent Variable in Comsol

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,

I am trying to run a 1d stationary simulation of heat transfer through a slab and wish to define a value of thermal conductivity that is dependent on temperature. I attempted to define the thermal conductivity as a global variable, but the expression is in orange and is coming up as an "Unknown function or operator" when assigned to the material, as shown in the attachments. I also tried defining the conductivity as an analytic function, but ran into the same issues.

Any help would be appreciated.
