Dear all,

I want to calculate the average bulk temperature in the following tube bank system. Is it possible with general projection (genproj)? Does anyone have any advice for how average bulk temperature could be calculated for this system?

Sincerely.

Hello Baris,

Computing an average value is exactly what Nonlocal Couplings of the Average type are for.

Once you've defined the average coupling operator, you can call it to operate on a quantity of your choice. Assuming that the operator is called aveop1 (That's the default first name), and that you want to average the quantity called T, then you would type aveop1(T) in whichever textfield it's needed in.

Best,

Best,

Jeff
