What's "Gauge fixing variable scaling"?

Hi, all

I see this "Gauge fixing variable scaling" in 3D electromagnetic waves application mode. It appears as one of the Application Scalar Variables and has an expression of psi0_guess_rfw.

Does anyone know the physical meaning of it? Do I need to change it in some cases?
