Is it possible to use the prev operator using the time dependent solver?

Hi,

I have read in the COMSOL Users Guide that it is possible to store a solution at a number of previous time steps using the "prev" operator using the TIME DISCRETE SOLVER and then use it as a variable to recalculate something.

Unfortunately I don't have this solver, or I just can't find it. Is it possible to use the operator with the Time Dependent solver?? I have tried but its not working.

I appreciate any comment.

Hi

I'm not sure COMSOL has the "time discrete solver" set-up for all physics, on the other hand once you have defined a study you will see all possible solver nodes in the drop down list, but all do not work for all physics, to be sure which one applies I add a new physics and check the list proposed then

Good luck
