Avoiding sharp edge and having a curvature

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Dear sir,
I want to know if there is an option for a line similar to 'fillet' to smoother vertices. I want to avoid having sharp perpendicular edges and instead try to have a curved surface connecting 2 perpendicular faces.
Thanking you in advance,
Vijay

Hi

unfortunately I know only of the 2D fillet (and no 2D champfer, nor 3D fillet) in COMSOL.

There is a thread for about 1-2 years ago about how to make a cube or a block with all filleted edges, try a search on the Forum

Good luck

Update on this thread: Nowadays COMSOL does include a direct 3D filleting capability in the Design Module. See www.comsol.com/design-module
Best,
