Hello Carla,
I imagine that the compressor turns on and off based on the temperature measured by a sensor, rather than at predetermined times. If my guess is correct, this blog post on how to use the Events interface should be helpful.

PS: If my guess is wrong and all you want to do is specify a predetermined time-varying input, that's of course also possible, and it's been discussed in a number of past threads in this Discussion Forum, see e.g. this thread .
