How to Convert Nodal Forces to Surface Forces？

Assuming that there is a node force f(xi,yi,fre), how can we get the surface force? If the point load command is directly applied to the mesh node, the result is much larger. Should nodal forces f(xi,yi,fre) be applied to the surface as discrete pressure loads?
