Finding Nusselt number

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

hi everyone ! I am making a numerical study about natural convection in square enclosure partially filled with metal foam. the enclosure sidewalls are held at constnt colt temperature , the top is insulated and the bottom is exposed to constant heat flux , there is a block of an open cell metal foam directly in touch with the lower surface . posistioned in the center of the lower surface , I am trying to find local and mean Nusselt number but I face a problem that when I select the bottom to find the Nu along it, there is a discontinuity of the curve at the left and right edges of the block, and Im not sure wheather I should identify the Nu to be evaluated along the bottom only or select the whole vertices of the plate.

could anyone help please

I would be so thankful
