Problems pairing a 3Dconnexion wireless space mouse with COMSOL

Dear all, I just installed a 3Dconnexion wireless mouse on my PC. I have also activated the use of this device in COMSOL "preferences --> Graphics and Plot Windows --> Mouse --> 3Dconnexion space mouse". Then I have reboot comsol as requested. However, since then, whenever I open comsol I get the following error message and the mouse seems to not be paired to comsol:

C:\ProgramData\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\Cfg\COMSOL.xml is invalid in 17.8.10. Incorrect syntax was used in a comment.

Would it be possible to help me in solving this probelm?
