Constraint condition: Guided

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I'm trying to set a guided constraint condition to my compliant folded beam in COMSOL 4.3.

Guided boundary condition has been defined as: a condition of support at the ends of a beam or column or at the edge of a plate or shell that prevents rotation of the edge of the neutral surface but permits longitudinal and transverse displacement.

Now I set guided boundary condition on the movable end of my folded beam that:
one external axial load force on the linkage block of the folded beam;
two roller on the each side of my force loading linkage block, parallel with the axial line;

Is this configuration correct? Or what's the correct one?

Thanks a lot!
