Save solution only in batch sweep

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,

For a project, I am running a batch sweep of certain parameters of my geometry, in order to find the eigenfrequencies of the geometry. However, since I need to check a large number of combinations, it keeps running out of disk space, as it saves the entire model for each run. It also seems to create files far ahead of the actual point it is computing, which uses even more disk space. My questions are thus:

1) is there a way to limit the amount of steps ahead the batch process creates files? 2) is there a way to tell comsol to compute the eigenfrequencies, save just the numbers, and then delete the geometry? I already have turned off saving the displacement fields.

I will later also need a similar thing to question 2 but for a stationary solver, where I would like to just save the maximum von mises stress.

Thanks in advance, Tesse
