Implementing custom secondary emission model

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I am trying to simulate a photomultiplier and use a secondary emission model developed by Pivi and Furman. This model calculates the number and energies of secondary electrons from the energy and collision angle of the incident electron. I know that COMSOL can call Matlab functions, so I can implement the necessary calculations in Matlab. However, the Secondary Emission node allows me to specify only the number of secondary electrons emitted and (as I suspect) their common energy. But I would like to assign different energies to the secondary electrons.

Is there any way how I can implement this?
