Parametic sweep, only one parameter result

Hi,
I'm trying to run a parametric sweep in a study with multiple steps, but the results for all parameters are identical to the first parameter of the sweep.
I've tried the following: - Adding a parametric sweep node before the study steps - Using the auxilary sweep in each step - Using the auxiliry step and the parametric sweep node. - Cleared all solver configurations
The log does show multiple parameters solved for and it does show the parametric values in the list box in the 3D plots and it does make a table with multiple line in derived values. But all are identical for all parameters. Changing the parameter value and running it does provide other values. So it's not the result of a "administrative" fault.
I've also note that the solver does not make a parametric sweep solutions node and provides a fault "Varying parameters in functions are not supported. Use parametric sweep"
I've added the same step1 in a 2nd study while adding the parametric sweep node first. Then it does work. If I add the second step, again it does not work.
Some guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks.
