Wave and Ray optics coupled model

Hello, I am coupling wave and ray optics for large geometry of metasurface by following the differaction grating comsol model. And I am to get the transmittance at range of wavelength. In wave optics transmittance is quite good showing different transmission at different wavelengths but in ray optics each wavelength is giving same transmission, Here my question is why the transmission is same at all the wavelengths in ray optics?
