How to get connected surfaces from post-processing

Hello,

I am currently using COMSOL Solid Mechanics CZM to simulate grain boundary cracking of polycrystalline cathode materials to see the degree of electrolyte penetration. Currently, I can obtain the width of polycrystalline grain boundaries and identify which grain boundaries are larger than 1 nm. But because the electrolyte penetrates from the outside, if the internal cracked grain boundaries are not connected to the external cracked grain boundaries, no electrolyte will penetrate. How can I identify the grain boundaries that can actually allow electrolyte to enter through post-processing?

Thanks, William
