Need help regarding use of optimization tool for inverse heat transfer problem

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,
I have just started using "Comsole V4.2a". Can anyone provide me any tutorial regarding a simple inverse heat transfer problem ? The problem may be finding out thermal conductivity k, using known temperature profile for a 2-D rectangular geometry.
I am finding difficulty in understanding the "Aquifer problem" available in the model library. Thanks

Koushik

Hi

there is an example in the model library, forgotten its name try out a search, simple single scalar optimisation can be done without any optimisation module, but if you have complex cases the optimisation modle is pre-cooked and will make you gain quite some time

Good luck
