odd bug in lagrangian multipliers in COMSOL

If you use lagrange multiplier, it seems that the value of the lagrange multiplier depends on the sign of "c" of the subdomain equation. For example if you solve for "-del^2(phi)=0" and "del^2(phi)=0", and the same boundary conditions, you will get different values(of opposite sign) for lm1 on the boundaries.

Can somebody explain why? I thought the value of "lm1" would depend on the direction of the normal

Hi

Good question, have you tried the official COMSOL "support" for that one ?

Pls do no forget to report bac once you get an explanation
