So far I have been successful in getting results using rational strecthing. Whenever I use polynomial stretching, it gives me erroneous results. What is the basic difference between these two?

For rational PML stretching option, the equations obtained from the model is different from the one provided in reference guides. Can someone please explain how comsol uses rational stretching?

Does anyone have any information regarding the rational streching of PML in COMSOL? I am trying to find out how COMSOL determines parameters for rational stretching.
