Using both Cartesian and cylindrical coord. sys in a model

In my model, I define a few boundary conditions in Cartesian coordinate system. I was wondering whether the other variables that I define, for example for Domain, must be in Cartesian as well. In other words, is it possible that for a few variables/functions of my model I use Cartesian and for the rest, Cylindrical coordinate system? Is this not recognized as an inconsistency for COMSOL?
Thanks,
Jessica
