I'm doing the simulation about sliding electric contact, which indicates that a conductor would sliding along another conductor, and they still remains electric contact with each other.
I'm not familiar with structural mechanics, and as I know if you want to simulate this multiphysics phenomenon, the moving mesh feature maybe used.
When I simulate the tutorial "Induction Heating of a Steel Billet"(www.comsol.com/showroom/gallery/330/),
which also coupled with a moving conductor, I found that the translational velocity is easily imposed on the model, and no complex moving mesh is included. Details in the attached file.
So, I wonder whether this feature can be found in Structure Mechanics. Can anyone give me some tips?
