Electric field lines, Current density lines

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Dear All,

I have trivial issue.

I have model which consists of metal nanoparticles on substrate (RF module).
After simulation, I want to plot electric field lines (Ex and Ey component) and current density lines (Jx and Jy component) for some particular wavelength.

Where is the function for that kind of plotting?

Thanks in advanced.

Field lines can be plotted as "streamlines." For example, in the Model-Builder, right-click "Results" and choose either 2D plot group or 3D plot group. Then right-click on that plot group and choose Streamline. The select or enter the variable values appropriately. You should also find "arrow volume" and "arrow surface" plots to be helpful in visualizing fields.

Thanks on answer.

I also found one good option. Right click on Electric field (in Model Builder list) and go to the Arrow surface. Then it is possible to plot lines.

Thanks again.

Nikola
