Hello all,
I'm a beginner with Comsol and I don't have the huge experience with Comsol. Anyways, in my project I have an infinitt long coated nano-particle, where the core is a Silicon dioxide (also known as Silica), which has the real part of the complex refractive index n = sqrt(2.05) and the extiction is k = -0.175. The core is surrounded with silver, whch has the real part of the relatve permittivity -14.4948 and the imaginary part of the relatve permittivity -j*1.6742. the radius of the core is 24 nm, the radius from origo to the end of the sphere is 30 nm and in a distance of 12 nm by the x-axis, there is a magnetic line source. All the parameters has been inserted, but it doesn't work as expected. Hopefully one of you can help me. The oploaded pdf file is the expected result.
I use the version 4.3b
Regard, Jes
