How to simulate ultrasonic wave in water

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi all,

I am new to Comsol and I have tried studying the different tutorials and other materials provided by Comsol. However, I still have a few questions. I have a 3d ultrasonic dishwasher model and the purpose of it is to simulate the ultrasonic waves in water to see how well the propagation is, with varying water temperature and frequency. I guess the physics that I am supposed to choose is pressure acoustics and after computing, the results is as shown in the attachment which is really wrong. My boundaries are surely incorrect somewhere and this is where I am not that clear. I just want the waves to propagate from the two boxes below, and within the dishwasher.

Thank you in advance! (really sorry for the stupid questions)

Regards,
James
