Heat Transfer Module; Convective Heat Flux node

Hello everybody,

I have the following question about the Convective Heat Flux node of the Heat Transfer Module:
In the geometry that I’m using, I have to planes (there are cubs, but very thin), let’s say, in the x-y plane, so that one it is inside the other (for example, a 1x1 cm^2 plane inside to a 5x5 cm^2 plane). Therefore I have two different domains.

I want to calculate de heat transfer coefficient for this geometry for the external natural convection case and I’m using the convective heat flux node for it. The problem is, that it asks me to give the plate diameter and I don’t know if I should select the two domains and give the plate diameter of the biggest plane.

Could someone explain me how to do it?

I hope you can understand my question.

Thanks,

David
