Moving Mesh and Geometry

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I have been working on a model that simulates a small stationary cylindrical pin on a cylindrical puck that is moving in a square cyclical pattern to simulate frictional heating. The puck and pin are unioned together. I am using a moving mesh and translational motion for the cylindrical puck in HT to simulate this. When I look at the results and export an animation, the resulting "heat" appears to be moving in the correct pattern, however, the geometry does not move. If the geometry does not move, does that indicate that I have a problem with how I configured the moving mesh?

I included a .gif file of what I am seeing. Any thoughts or input would be helpful!

Thanks
Kathleen
