Discrete numbers on the X-axis of a Line Graph

I am analyzing a fluid flow and concentration gradient in microfluidic device. Device has a main horizontal channel and 256 vertical side channels to on both sides (up and down). I have two fluid inflows one from a top and other from bottom. Top fluid flow carries a chemical species to the device.
When I plot the concentration in the side channels, I need to get the channel numbers on the X-axis of the graph instead or arc length or x-coordinate.
Is there any way we can do this?
Thank you
Shehan
