How do you calculate mode overlap factors in 3D waveguide when supplies have two wavelengths using comsol multiphysics

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I am designing a 3D wave guide using comsol multiphysics as core (Silicon nanocrystal and Sio2 composite refractive index is 1.595,length=100nm,width=300nm,height=100nm) and cladding (silicon refractive index 3.48,length=100nm,width=300nm,height=200nm).

At the input end I want to provide two supplies; pump (power=.3 and wavelength=1434nm) and signal (power=.003 and wavelength=1550nm).

Then I want to calculate mode overlapping factor between (signal and signal, pump and pump, signal and pump, pump and signal).

Hello AMit,
I believe you may be looking for the "with" operator. See Reference Manual for COMSOL Multiphysics, version 5.2a, page 250.
Best,
Jeff
