Work station with new generation hardware for COMSOL 4.4

Hi all,
I am trying to choose between two work stations which are being offered by the retailers at similar price. Currently, I have the license for COMSOL 4.4 and do not plan to upgrade to 5.0 until next year.

Workstation A:
2x Intel CPUs E5 2620v2 6 Core 2.10 GHz
64 GB 1866MHz DDR3 SDRAM ECC
PNY Quadro K4000 3 GB DDR5 Video card

Workstation B contains the new generation parts:
2x Intel CPUs E5-2620v3 6 Core 2.4 GHz
64 GB 2133MHz DDR4 ECC
PNY Quadro K2200 4GB DDR5

If I purchase workstation B, will COMSOL 4.4 work well with the newer generation CPUs and memory or are these likely to be stable with only COMSOL 5.0? Workstation A should be able to run COMSOL 4.4 and 5.0 if we upgrade our license in the future, so I trust that it is a stable system.

The workstation will have Windows 7. There are a few Quadro cards (410 and FX 580) that have been tested with Windows 7 for COMSOL 4.4. If we put in a card that is overrated such as the ones that are recommended for COMSOL 5.0 (Quadro K2000 and K4000), how do we optimize the graphics card? Do the updated drivers for overrated graphics card work with COMSOL 4.4?

I am referring to the graphics requirements for COMSOL 4.4

Thanks for any help and suggestions
