Product of dependent variables in equation based modelling

I have an equation which can best be simplified down to diff(A*B,t)=f(x,t) which really is A*diff(B,t)+B*diff(A,t)=f(x,t) as A and B are both dependent variables.

If I put this in equation based modeling as 1 equation with 2 dependent variables, I get an error because there is essentially an empty equation. Does anyone know how to input my equation in a way that will allow COMSOL to solve it?
