I am trying to combine geometries. I have a square below which is a thin rectangle touching it through its top edge. The above square is given some pre displacement condition, I expect thin rectangle to get attached with it only through top right vertex and show some stress as at the bottom it is fixed. Which type of joint can best describe this situation? Please, help as I am new to Comsol Multiphysics.
I am using Solid Mechanics module to simulate this behavior.
Thanks.
