Calculating average and variance

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

In a 3D case study, how is it possible to calculate Average and variance of a parameter that has different value in different direction in post-processing section?

For example I want to calculate "Average and variance" of hydraulic conductivity or velocity field for my domain.
BUT if I want to choose hydraulic conductivity then there are: kxx, kxy, kxz, kyx, kyy, kyz, kzx, kzy, kzz

Again, which steps should I take to calculate just Average and variance of "k" in comsol?

Thanks in advance for your help
