Time Dependent Study of a Cantilever Beam with Step Input

I am trying to simulate a cantilever beam, fixed-free, undergoing an applied point force at the free end of the beam, simulated as a step input. My goal is to obtain the beam total displacement.
I created a model of the beam in Matlab for the unit step response of a system and have plotted the response with respect to time. I have attached the Matlab file.
How do I set up the step input properly in COMSOL as a specified force?
Within my model of the cantilever beam I have assigned values for damping. Where do I assign damping in COMSOL? How do I change these values? I have looked into the Time Dependent>Solver Configurations>Solver2>Time Dependent Solver 1>Fully Coupled> Newton Method and found a damping value here and my understanding is that it helps to converge the solution. Does this values also affect the decrement of the oscillations?
Thank you for your help!
