Hello,
In the solid, stress-strain Modul could you explain me the difference between these two pairs ?
Thanks

Hi Mat,

Identity pair is a pair that connects parts in an assembly using constraints on the equations so that the solution becomes continuous across the border between the parts.
Contact pair is same as the Identity pair but mainly used in Structural Mechanics module, where you can create models involving Contact, with or without Friction between the parts.
