Dispersion curve of ALN film in 2D

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Dear all,
I am trying to plot dispersion curves of an ALN piezo film in COMSOL. For now I can plot the velocity in function of the wavenumber k by applying a Flocket peridodicity to my structure and by sweeping the wave vector k between 0 to pi/lamda. So my questions are:
1) Am I sweeping the wavenumber k in the right range ? lamda is the wavelength and the width of the simulated geometry also.
2) How can I normalized the x axis to the thickness of the ALN film? I mean I would like to plot the velocity in function of kh.

Thanks

Mans
