shape function for 3D transient moving mesh ????

hello,
I am tring to model a 3D movment of spherical object in a rectangular channel. the sphear have to move as a result of fluid flow in the channel.
I did ithe model in 2D, but now I have problem with SHAPE FUNCTIONS of 3D.

I attached my file to this discussion form, and do appreciate if anybody can help me find out how should I set up the SHAPE FUNCTIONS here.

SHAPE FUNCTINS in 2D are set up as :"s" and "1-s" like : vel*s and vel*(1-s)
but when it comes to 3D, I don't know what I have to do :(

please help if you have any idea,
