High mach number turbulent flow in a converging diverging channel

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I am trying to solve for a 2D asymmetric supersonic turbulent flow in a converging-diverging nozzle. We are using high mach number turbulent flow module. The fluid flows through a tube which is connected to the nozzle inlet. We are using k-epsilon turbulent model. Following are the boundary conditions:

Inlet: Hybrid, 21.5 psi total pressure, R134a entering at 20 degree C.
Outlet: Hybrid: 0 psi static pressure.

Walls of the nozzle maintained at 25 degree C. We have selected 'wall functions' as the boundary condition for all the walls. We have physics controlled mesh.

We were able to run the case and get a solution, however, the solution do not satisfy no slip at the walls of the nozzle.

Could you please help us resolve this issue.

Thanks !
