Plasma Actuator Modelling query

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello

I have developed an AC-DBD plasma actuator model. The DBD is driven by an AC source. I have made use of the DC-Discharge interface since it has electrostatics, heavy species transport and drift diffusion model inbuilt. Please find attached my model.

I have coupled my electrostatic model with external circuit to make the model time dependent.

Then i have defined plasma chemistry in the adjoining region of the exposed electrode and have initialized the electron energy density and mean electron energy for further improved estimation from drift diffusion model.

On running the model. I get an error that
Failed to find consistent initial values.
Last time step is not converged.
- Feature: Time-Dependent Solver 1 (sol1/t1).

I will appreciate is someone can guide me how to resolve this problem.

Thank you

Best regards
