I have a coil surrouding a piece of ferromagnetic material.
I want to measure some parameters in two diferent situations:

1) Applying a current , measure the displacment of the piece of ferromagnetic material, meaning the force aplied to it. And is it possible to change an alternate current , in order to have a sinusoidal behaviour?

2)Applying a force directly in the piece of ferromagnetic material (a predescribed movment) measure the flux-linkage and the back-emf induced in the coil

I would appreciate a lot if someone could help me!!
